Echo16Daily MBTI questions, write your answers, see your personality type unfold as you share
Live Demo
Why I Started ThisEcho16 has a similar design to miniDot - daily writing prompts, reading others' sharing, reacting to posts. The biggest difference is Echo16's writing prompts focus on MBTI-related scenarios. Each prompt focuses on one dichotomy (like E vs I, N vs S), and after you answer, it immediately returns your type. You can see others' posts with their types on the feed, and while you answer more, your full MBTI picture gets revealed.
What Surprised MeThis prototype demonstrates good potential of LLM in terms of "categorizing." I used gpt-4o-mini to analyze each user answer and overall profile - turns out LLM can categorize people and return short analysis paragraphs in reasonable time with good quality. However, composing the daily writing prompts didn't work well. Initially they were fresh and easy-to-write, but in the long run, later questions seemed limited, getting bored and repetitive.
What This Opens UpMy takeaway: since LLMs are good at categorizing and profiling, how about leveraging these results to compose follow-up messages? This finding affected my later project: Sprk.
